Finally...

... I have made something more than a test piece with the embellisher.
It may not come as a surprise that I made a bag... and here it is. I'm sorry for the "matching" background color, but I took this photo in a hurry for a friend... I might get a better one eventually.

Here are the samples that made me do this bag:

Both of them together

For this one I used a nice yarn which I mached togheter (using the Embellisher) with a lovely organza fabric, placed it on top of a dark brown corderoy (?) fabric and added cotton batting underneath. I went over it all again with the embellisher and finally free motion quilted the whole piece on my ordinary sewing machine, using a metallic gold thread.

For this one I started the same way, but while placing the organza on top of cotton fabric and batting I faced the yarn towards the fabric. Then I added a second kind of yarn on top and finally secured it all with my sewing machine and a golden embroidery thread.
What I did was to program my machine for a narrow zig-zag and a fastening stitch, attached the free motion foot and made a bunch of zig-zag stitches close to each other to make a small square, then I lifted the presser foot over the yarn and made another one. The thread between looks quite decorative.
